Adult Faith Formation

As part of the parish’s continuing religious education programs for adults, Corpus Christ Church offers both a Lectionary Based Scripture Study program and an on-going study of the New Testament, particularly the Gospels and writings of Paul. In doing so, she is aligning herself with the vision of Vatican II which, in its document on Divine Revelation, urged Catholics to delve more deeply into the riches of sacred scripture both for personal spiritual growth and that of parish renewal. The RCIA serves unbaptized adults who wish to become Catholic Christians; baptized Catholics who want to complete the Sacraments; and Christians from other denominations who wish to join the Catholic Church. Parishioners prepare for a deeper understanding of the sacred scriptures that will be proclaimed at Mass on the following Sunday. Sacred Scripture Series
