Members care for altar linens, vestments, and the sacred vessels. Boys and girls in grade six or above and adults serve at Mass on the weekends. This group works with the Liturgy Committee to plan and prepare liturgical environments which enhance our worship. These individuals share the Body and Blood of Christ with the assembly at Mass. A friendly smile and a welcoming spirit are all that is needed for this ministry. Greeters make people feel at home as they arrive and welcome visitors and newcomers to our Church. This committee provides fellowship and hospitality after Mass and for special occasions to build community among parishioners. Women and men proclaim the Word of God so that the Parish community is brought to a deeper understanding and love of scripture. We all know the transformative power of music! Music moves us, inspires, brings voices and prayers together, and helps our hearts to feel! It is a powerful gift offered to us by God so that in thankfulness for that gift we may serve the spiritual and heart needs of others as well as ourselves. Ushers perform a variety of duties including collecting the offerings and assisting with seating of congregation. |
