Through our baptism, each Christian is called to be a committed follower of Christ. Discipleship is a call to faith—a life of service to God and to our neighbor. The Church has named this way of Christian living Stewardship.
Stewardship is a response to God in faith and thanksgiving for our gifts of time, talent and treasure. Stewardship is, first and foremost, a spiritual activity. Prayer initiates and permeates all activity associated with our community. Stewardship addresses the needs of the parish and the society in which we live, assisting us in effectively carrying out our commitment of Christian service.
The stewardship committee is engaged at the present time in planning a series of stewardship fairs and ministerial workshops for the community. We encourage your prayer for the good work of this group, as they plan for the coming year.
