Welcoming women of all ages, the Corpus Christi Women's Group provides a refreshing respite from our active roles as mothers, grandmothers, daughters, sisters, girlfriends, friends, significant others, and more.
Through reflection, social events, speakers, and community outreach efforts, we seek to support, sustain and enrich community spirit as well as individual growth for our members. The Women's Group is a wonderful way to get involved, and more importantly, to meet a new friends and families at Corpus Christi. We hold monthly meetings, typically in the Gibson Center, and sponsor various events for families with children under 6 years old.

September 12, 2007 - Work, family, life - finding a balance. Guest speaker: Jenya Cassidy. October 17, 2007 - Career Counselor December 5, 2007 - Outing: Soup Kitchen (6pm, St. Mary's Center) January 16, 2008 - Red Cross Disaster Preparedness February 20, 2008 - Outing: Brewery. Networking Meeting. March 19, 2008 - Child Temperament Speaker April 16, 2008 - Spiritual Topic May 21, 2008 - Top 10 Restaurants in Oakland October 7, 2007 Parish Picnic at Robert's Park- Children's Enchanted Forest This unique offering at the fall parish picnic focuses primarily on children under 6 years old. A magical, fairy theme is reflected in the crafts and décor. Activities include crafts such as wands & crowns, face painting offered by a Fairy Pixie, tattoos, and Fishing for Treats. The Enchanted Forest is open from 12-2pm, following the outdoor mass at Roberts Park. November 4, 2007 Harvest Festival Please join us for our annual community-building event in the school parking lot (school gym, if it rains) following the 10:30am Mass. Entering its 7th year, this event features music, crafts, food, bake sale, children's activities, a raffle, and more. The 6th annual event also introduced music, a sponsored brochure, a children's photo opportunity, and holiday photo sessions. Want to volunteer? Contact the Women's Group.

Easter Egg Hunt The annual parish Easter Egg Hunt, follows 10:30am mass on Easter Sunday each year. Children participate in a hunt (except when raining) which takes place just outside the rectory courtyard and get to meet the Easter Bunny. Lite Hospitality is held in the Gibson Center. April 4, 11, 18, 25, 2008 Corpus Christi UnCorked- April Wine Series Four consecutive Friday nights in April from 6:30 to 9pm in the Gibson Center. Held in the winter months following 10:30am mass and hosted in the
gymnasium, playgroups are designed to bring together young families in
the parish community in a casual setting. Donated toys, crafts and
light snacks are provided.
